We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that we have been appointed as authorised caterers at the truly wonderful Edes House in Chichester.
The quintessential Chichester wedding venue
This beautiful and imposing Grade 1 listed building dates back to the 17th century and is an unmistakeable landmark in the city given its immaculately-proportioned frontage and close proximity to Chichester Cathedral and the Market Cross.
It’s no surprise then that is also undoubtedly one of the finest wedding venues to be found anywhere in southern England, and boasts some exquisitely detailed interiors that are the perfect compliment to such an elegant exterior.
Equally unsurprisingly, lucky brides and grooms in the know choose it as the perfect space in which to share their big days with family and friends, and we can certainly see why. It really is a very, very special place indeed.
In recent times, West Sussex County Council has undertaken a painstaking and considered restoration to return this grand old beauty to its former splendour. An incredible collection of paintings and ornaments mingle with stunning fireplaces and Renaissance-inspired finishes to create a whole that is hugely atmospheric, yet never overwhelming. If the walls had ears as the saying goes, we’d absolutely love to know what they’d heard over the centuries in this unique city so brimming with history.
Better news still is that Edes House is not only a venue for wedding ceremonies, but couples and their guests can also enjoy the surroundings afterwards for the reception too. A fully bespoke hire package can be tailor-made to suit your plans, and the space benefits from being licensed for food and drink.

As approved caterers, we have been chosen as we have met West Sussex County Council’s stringent requirements for the provision of food and drink at Edes House. Working in close partnership with the Council means that we can deliver our trademark hassle-free service (and delicious menus, of course!), backed up by the venue’s exemplary planning and staffing. All in all, couples can be assured of the best levels of care and attention when the big day arrives.
Over the years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to work at some amazing venues and events around the country, but of course, Chichester is a place that’s been always very close to our hearts. In some ways, this feels like a homecoming.
