Garden Party Catering

By , Posted on 8th May 2011 - Posted in: Party Catering

It is our firm belief that there really are few more important things in life than family, and now that the days are getting longer and the temperatures start to climb once more after the long winter months, what better way of celebrating those closest of bonds and enjoying time together, than a long, relaxed afternoon in the garden while enjoying a fantastic lunch?

Over the recent holiday period, we invited around thirty of our nearest and dearest to something of a gathering of the clan, treating them to some of our favourite dishes.

The day was a fabulous success with much love and laughter in evidence, and we thought we’d share the menu we created for it with you:

We began proceedings by serving glasses of cool, refreshing Pimms in welcome, accompanied by a variety of tempting nibbles, olives and crisps.

When the time came, everyone then sat down to enjoy a fine spread, including chicken kebabs, sausages, and of course our trademark BBQ spare ribs. These were served with sides of hot new potatoes, green salad, and a Greek-style tomato, olive and Feta salad.

Pudding came in the guise of soft berry roulades with a coulis, and a cheese board, followed by hot, aromatic coffee and chocolates.

Thinking of holding a family lunch party?

If you are thinking of hosting a family lunch party, or a garden party of your own, why not speak to us and see how we can help you? We can provide a stunning menu, as well as all the plates, cutlery, condiments, linen you could ever need, as well as the drinks and glassware at a very reasonable fully inclusive price. We can even assist with dressing your chosen venue to help make it look its best and give your guests a truly unforgettable experience.

Nothing makes us happier if you leave everything to us, so you can get on with the important business of spending time with the people that really matter to you, exchanging stories and joy on a balmy, relaxing afternoon. Surely, isn’t that what the summer months should be all about?
